No more. If you are a resident of the CNMI, you have probably heard this phrase many times recently. No more money, no more gas, no more power. Thanks to the wonderful abilities of certain people in the CNMI to outstandingly mismanage funds where we need it most, we have almost no more of anything. We are like that kingdom in the Bible, which in its good years did not save anything for the drought to follow, and had to beg food from the kingdom that did. Nearly depleted funds have led to us having very little fuel and not having enough money to fix our outdated power plant, which in turn led to constant, frequent power outages. One might say it will all be over around mid-September, right? The only problem with that is the Agrekko deal only lasts 52 weeks. Leave it to the Governor to leave the Business Development Independence Bank's offer of a 15-megawatt power plant hanging, while here we are on Saipan with a temporary lease on a plant, which we would pay for more monthly! And I thought that no one with the CNMI's true interests in mind could refuse that offer! Oh well.
I recently learned that my teacher, Mr. John Davis of Marianas High School, was running for the congressional delegate position, and I will tell you, if you want a man with knowledge of the U.S. government and its many affairs, laws, and regulations, he is your man. After all, he is an Advanced Placement U.S. Government teacher. He teaches about the U.S. government for a living! He also teaches Advanced Placement Language Arts, therefore you can be sure he knows how to write and speak very proficiently. Another plus is that he has been residing in the CNMI for 22 years to date, and is very familiar with all of the hardships and issues the CNMI has had to face, not just from talking with his students about issues, but from experiencing them himself.
If you are one of those people who is tired of how politicians win by promising jobs, making and taking bribes, and favoring their relatives, I am confident that you would be glad to vote for John Davis, who is also tired of that and wants to “bring integrity into the federal office” and who wants “someone to fight for the CNMI, not for their own pocketbooks or prestige or glory.” So, for all the people who oppose the current way of our politicians, you know what to do; it's not up to the Governor this time.

Greetings, I'm currently in Las Vegas for the 4th annual CNMI goodwill softball tournament. It's well attended by teams from the Western States, all with familial and cultural ties to the CNMI. Opening ceremonies yesterday morning were particularly poignant as I looked at the ballplayers standing at attention during the singing of the CNMI Anthem, I imagined that all of them have dreams and aspirations of returning home to raise their families. But they need opportunity and a solid base to come home to. Our first elected member to the US Congress will be a driving force behind the change that we all know needs to happen.
The CNMI needs to diversify its elected officials to check and balance our legislature. The California legislature is a good example of the meaning of diverse group.
Mr. John H. Davis you will get our support this coming November and we will lobby our families and friends throughout the CNMI for their support. We are currently in the United States furthering our secondary education and one day we will return to our islands to make a difference in the near future.
We don't need another self-centered (Banidosu)individual like John Gonzales or someone that will resort to nepotism and corruption. What we need in the CNMI is to encourage Mainlanders, other ethnic groups to run for public offices and put an end to the family run government. The Trust Territory Government mentality has to disappear, because our fore-fathers had been con into wrong doing due to lack of education.
We give you thanks for standing up for your constitution rights and contributing to our community in the CNMI. We need more individuals like yourself to represent us in our legislature. May god bless you and your endeavor in the future in the CNMI.

do u know that the local people in the CNMI are the minority now? I do not support you for one reason.
"U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona has dismissed the lawsuit filed by John H. Davis Jr., a U.S. citizen who wants to stop the Commonwealth Election Commission from denying U.S. citizens who are not of Northern Marianas descent the right to vote on any issue regarding Article 12 of the CNMI Constitution or on any other issues.". This opens the door for everyone else. I am not narrow minded at all. But I do see something wrong if you win this suit.
